Similarly, the subsidiary of the largest Chinese air carrier (Air China), whose route network includes about 27 countries and 36 cities, chose the Sheremetyevo-Cargo cargo terminal as a handling operator for theirs flights according to the tender results. The first flight of the airline has been handled by Sheremetyevo-Cargo staff on December 15, 2022.
We cooperated with the parent airline more than 20 years before start of operations with the Chinese cargo carrier (Air China Cargo).
In her letter, Air China representative thanked the employees of the Sales and Marketing department of Sheremetyevo-Cargo JSC, whose professionalism allowed to attract a lot of shippers for Air China flights and thereby significantly increase the airline's cargo turnover for export from Moscow.
The representative of Moscow sales department of Chinese airline highly appreciated “the advanced procedures which use Sheremetyevo-Cargo to ensure safety handling” and wished to us “new success in cooperation between Sheremetyevo-Cargo and Air China to ensure cargo handling on the flights of the air carrier".
The desire of Sheremetyevo-Cargo to develop through the digitalization of operations process has always aroused the interest of our customers and partners. And it increased the confidence level to the cargo terminal. The list of our partner airlines is constantly expanding. It consists 57 Russian and foreign airlines today, despite to the temporary difficulties in the aviation industry.
Cooperation with the Chinese cargo air carrier significantly expands the geographical opportunities of our customers and provides them with new opportunities for economic growth and development of company due to the reorientation of Russian market from West to East.
